If you can squeeze your rods into one tube then do it, or Sage, Orvis and FishPond make travle bags that do away with rod tubes…

I like the DoF and the emotion of the opening shot.
Pic 8 is also good, and I think it is one of the few with the entire angler, including rod tip, and that the angler is intent on something, doesn’t matter what…
I like the 2 additional ones too, they just feel complete.I find it interesting that I kind of had in idea of what the crit was going to be, 2 or 3 years ago, I would have just thought they were good photos… thanks to this site…
This one drives me nuts, the homepage starts so well, but try clicking on the products tabs, welcome to the worst flyfishing website to navigate.
This used to be a quit normal good functioning website. Till i guess a few days ago when they came up with this. It takes much to long for the pages to load even with my 10MBit connection.
When you got it in front of you you have to zoom in to see some detail on picss/images that aren’t that sharp.
I know the old Scierra website and it was a decent, functional website, I hate what they’ve done to it.

I am no expert and what I say here might be way off, but what I have read and heard goes like this…
Sunblock is an iffy one, anything over spf 15 really is’nt much more effective than the next, kind of like a reverse curve. The changes and effectiveness of SPF 1 to SPF 2 is quite easily established, and relatively large, but between 15 and 16 it is not.
The higher the SPF, the less the difference… thus anything over 15 will do the job pretty well, 25 is excellent, but there is little reason to go over 30’ish…
I once read a very interesting article on this whole debate and where its going, and why… most of us know why, marketing, that’s it… most at 25 or up are good as the next. The trick is to find the best for you.

I agree with all the above, can really comment on much else, but I will troll…
I do have one that I like for many reasons, Scott, they change it every year or so, and every time it seems to give me more info on the company, products and processes.
If I could, or if you would be so inclined, could you edit your first post and put all the “Hot” and “Not’s” in it as a post script??
I have been watching this thread and then doing some homework on these little buggers…
I have a birdbath in the garden, which I have turned into a little swamp, and it is full of bloodworm. The midge hatch every evening, really cool…
But after checking these things out properly, how the hell do you really imitate them… here’s what I have found.
1. Size 22 or smaller.
2. The change colour as they pupate, from Red to almost black.
3. They rise very fast, and are almost a dark red when they rise.
4. They become very dark just before they hatch.
5. They are always curled up while pupating.
6. They stretch out before they hatch.
7. Their “breathing tubes” often interlink while they hang in the film.
8. Often there will be a few hatching at the same time.
9. There is no way to properly imitate the emerged adult.Wish I could get some real photo’s………
