Nice work Lee!  And thanks for sharing your pics!

As you know I am still trying to learn this whole fly fishing photography thing myself, so I will just offer up the ones I really like.  The last shot of the group is outstanding, I think.  I also really like the following images as listed on your Picasa page: #4,#12,#14,#16, #22.

You have a cool perspective on the wide angle shot of the guys in the river looking down from slightly above.  I look forward to seeing more of your pics 🙂

I liked the shots, those browns are beautiful!

May I ask what stream you were on. Me and a few friends are going to WI around the first of June and are looking for info on good streams to cast the longrods.

    Thanks

    Lee,

Glad to see someone else is liking the 10-22mm – I think it’s going to be my next lens purchase.

    #9 is a great shot.

There’s a reason why I usually stick to close ups of fish and not my disturbing likeness.  But that doesn’t mean I have to put up with your shit timmy 😉

On a more serious note, it’s been awesome to be out fishing again!!!

Here’s a few more pics from last week.

    A couple of nymph-eaters…

And after 4 days with decent stoneflies hatching, I finally saw one rise.  He went 2 or 3 more times as I was tearing off my nymph rig, and then he ate my 3rd drift.  My best from that river, and so far this season- well worth the price of admission!

Lee was upstream with the net, so I got the camera out and figured I’d just land him by hand.  But when I got him close I decided a net was in order.  LEE!

Not bad for the first riser of the season!

Nothing like being back on the water!

Very nice Lee, some very nice looking browns. Kind of makes me sick, in an odd feel good sort of way :).
