Corey, Is that a rattle snake I see impaled in that leopards face? Also another san juan worm gets the job nicely done in the second photo.

That fly is an articulated zoo cougar .. It has amazing action in the water! You can always rely on the worm to get the job done! 😉

Nice. I dig it .. Clean design and gets your photos across quickly. Nice job!

A couple of things you might consider …

Maybe embedding a lower rez version of your reel so that it doesn’t take you away from the main site and is quicker to load… You could then offer the higher rez for download.

A custom scroll bar for your image pages might be nice also .. I have some code around for that if your interested shoot me a PM! Just an fyi .. Its .js

It is also a Vladi worm, condom worm, or one of many other names. The Poles, Czechs and other East Euros have been using them for years as anchors on the Czech nymph rigs. Same shape hooks, same materials, etc.

Thanks for the info. Looked up a couple of recipes … Wonder if I can find some blue condoms 😮

whoa! i’ve never seen a blue worm before… tell me more.

Lol .. I have no idea. A fishing buddy pulled out this box a couple of trips ago and I had to get a shot! The worm is a ‘pigsticker’. I like to tie them on a Daiichi Hook – 1770 (Swimming Nymph Hook).
