Kurt: I agree … Sort of. I mostly posted it just for *wow 3300$* factor. However, some lenses just have a nice quality to them. From what I have seen this is one of those lenses. Plus, it would be fun to play around with in low-light no flash situations. I can think of two or three other lenses that I would rather have for that amount of cash though. 😀

I would say that it might be worth your while to bump over to the South Fork. I fished with WorldCast Anglers on the South Fork for four days this week, doing the guide school program. We actually caught fish on dries, streamers, and nymphs.
I have both .. I’d go for the 7D. Personally, I dont like the iso noise the 50D. Not to mention all the “other stuff”.
William Joseph (I believe) has a new series of packs with Earth Magnets in them. Â I have seen one and the owner said the magnets are very strong. Â This might be an option and stop the corrosion issue.
Good luck, and I wish I fished flats enough to need a new lumbar pack 😉I got one a while back and the magnets are super strong but they did start to rust from inside.  I have been using the Simms Flats Pack for a few months and it is absolutely awesome!  Judging by the construction, (heavy zipper, waterproof, sealed seems etc.) I have a feeling this thing will last me a while.

Thanks! All I really did was some behind the scenes website stuff .. The real credit goes to Bryan and all the other local guys who fought so hard AND are still fighting. I hope to see this in court again soon!
