Bob RigginsMemberGeorgia O’Keeffe, I love her use of simple forms
Ansel Adams, needs no explanation
Michelangelo, If you have ever seen David, you know what I mean
Alfred Stieglitz, THE pioneer in photographic composition (plus he had a fondness for Georgia O’Keefe).
Not to mention Neal Osborn, Zach Mathiews and Morsie.
Bob RigginsMemberNice pictures and report.
Bob RigginsMemberLooks like fun.
Bob RigginsMemberActually, I may have jumped the gun.
Bob RigginsMemberOddly enough, I don’t know of any units that do roads and trails and marine.
Bob RigginsMemberI bought that bamboo rod for about $60 on e-bay a few years ago, specifically as a wall hanger.
Bob RigginsMemberI did one a while back with some flies I had recieved from a swap. In fact, I suggested we do a display swap sometimes in which each person would send in their flies and $10 and I would get the shadow boxes and mount the flies and send them back. There was no interest though.
Here is the shadow box I did. It is on my wall at the office.
Bob RigginsMemberIs “lining” the fish the same as snagging.
Bob RigginsMemberAs already said, the Freedom Hawk is heavy, slow, awkward, poorly laid out for fishing and expensive.
Bob RigginsMemberHenry,
I’ll have to make it down to Sarasota and check it out.
Bob RigginsMemberZach
It must be something to do with my IE browser.
Bob RigginsMemberZach,
I’ve been reading you Midcurrent blog and it has some great information.
Bob RigginsMemberThe original poster, however, makes a point that is lost on some. If we do not grow a commodity we get it through mining of some sort.
Who, specifically, is the point lost on?
Bob RigginsMemberYou bring up an interesting question.
Bob RigginsMemberMorsie
The two shots with Simon and Bob and then Simon, Bob and Carl are absolutely amazing.
Bob RigginsMemberI’ve always been intrigued by LOOP reels although I have never seen one in person.
Bob RigginsMemberBob, please show Brenda a copy of David’s picture. Unfortunately, everything in photography has a side effect – for my end, these brushes just gave me a big head, LOL.
I’ll be sure to do that. David could have at least slimmed down my waistline a little though.
Just to let you know, my son Cole and I went out to the place behind Caladesi Island and we actually caught fish.
PS:
Bob RigginsMemberI noticed that you’ve been slacking off lately. After all, all you have to do is practice law, write articles, keep up with your photo assignments, keep up with the Midcurrent blog, do your podcasts, monitor this board, rebuild boats, keep the Mrs. happy, and fish occasionally (whew!). Now all you need is a couple of kids to round out your day.
Bob RigginsMemberI like it.
Bob RigginsMemberGlad your odyssey ended on a high note. Brenda and I had a great time with you and Julie. Good food, good friends and (not so) good fishing. Believe it or not, there actually are some fish around here. At least you got some casting practice in so you were ready for the tarpon.
The kayaks are ready anytime you want to try it again.
P.S.:
