    Staurt,

I’ve used it several times. They are great to fish out of, being able to stand up is a great advantage. Some of the cons are the price tag. If you going to be in it for a long time you need to upgrade the seat. They are heavy and very slow in the water.

I like that the FH allows you to stand up but it does not look like there is much storage, price is a problem, what

Kayaks are all about mobility and it appears that the Freedom Hawk is deficient in that department–speed, weight, etc.  Before you invest, try an on-water comparison between the FH and the Native Ultimate boats then make your choice on speed, mobility, weight, price and ultimately the ability to stand and fish–a characteristic both have.

As already said, the Freedom Hawk is heavy, slow, awkward, poorly laid out for fishing and expensive.

    I’ll second the Native.

I’ve had mine out 3 times now. On two occassions I stood up to test things, and one of those “test” had alot of my camera equipment on board so I was risking alot more than a swim.

I’ve got to second the Native Ultimate as well.

Thanks for the info guys I think I am going to look at Native Ultimate Tandem as it would be nice to take someone with me from time to time.
