Looks like you have got your answer. If you recall, both of my kayaks had anchor trolley systems. That is the only way you will be able to position the kayak properly in the wind. I use a stake out pole with the trolley system in shallow water flats and switch to the anchor in deeper water.
Once you get the trolley position set you can leave it and raise and lower the anchor and just let it hang when you want to move. You need to run the anchor line through a ring on the trolley system and have a quick release anchor line cleat next to you on the side of the kayak.
I really like sit on tops because I am always slipping in and out of them to wade, but if you want to stand a lot the Native Ultimates are a good choice.

I am a rank amature as far as photography is concerned, but I did have one question about point and shoot cameras.
Interesting list. If I were to put together a list, Michigan would not even come into the discussion, but then again, I’ve never fished there.
If Florida just had some mountains and trout streams, I would never leave. Even without them, Florida has more accessable water than anywhere in the country. Granted Lousianna has better fishing if you can get to it, but have you ever tried to park your car, get out, walk down to the water and catch a snook.
But I agree, since “The Movie” Montana is the place everyone dreams about. My personal favorite though, is Alaska, which is the very antithesis of Florida.
I have a nephew that goes to the University of Virginia and had taken up fly fishing. Last Christmas, a gave him a book of fly fishing streams I put together from Trails.com.
I have had a subscription to Trails.com for several years and have found it to be an invaluable resource for finding good hiking trails and fishing spots. You can locate the trail, stream, waterfall, campground, kayak spot or a lot of other outdoor activities on the map and it usually links to a short guide. Some of the stream guides include species of fish, type of flies to use, access points and even good streaches to fish.
It is pretty cheap to subscribe, but you can go in and log on for a two week free trial.
I posted a little about flies on your other thread on TFO. As I indicated, I use tube flies for shark with the predominant color being red and/or orange. I also like a little black in them with a lot of flash. Depending on the size of the shark, the flies could be 4″ to 8″ long. I like to use synthetic materials for durability. I don’t think specific patterns matter that much. Just tie a bulky fly generally in the shape of a fish.
Remember, a shark is going to take a fly in a quick reaction to sight, so you have to use something that will excite them. Once they get a good look and sniff at a fly, they will never take it.
For the hook setup, I use braided steel bite tippets snelled to a circle hook. Snelling the hook keeps it from flopping around inside the fly. Since the tippet is threaded through the tube in the fly, hook action is not relevant. I also do not use multi hook flies like shown in one of the pictures. If you get hooked when landing the fish, you are connected to the shark. Not a good thing. 😮

This is probably the best bit of advice in the whole article.
I agree that Marathon or Islamarada are cheaper and more water and fishing oriented, but, I would still recommend spending one night in Key West.
While this is not a great photo, it is my favorite because it was so amazingly difficult to get. I was snorkleing in the Galapagos when this penquin started zooming around. The shutter lag in my Pentax Optio W60 combined with the speed of the bird made getting it almost impossible. I took about 50 shots with the bird in only about 5 of them. I like this one because it shows the school of fish he was chasing.
