    Anyone have any recommendations for somewhere to stay in Key West for a few days in march?

    My advice – don’t stay in Key West unless you have to.

    La Concha Key West Hotel we rode out hurricane something or other there a few years back.

    Havent been to the keys in years…but we used to stay at the Islander in Islamorada. Its just a stones throw from the Lorelei Cabana bar…always had a great time there. Key West is fun..for a day trip, but I wouldnt want to stay there. Cheers.

    Check out ebay. We get a great deal on a place in Big Pine. We stayed in the lower half of the owners place on the water. It was a big bonus to have a local that close to help us out too. The owners also had rentals in KW I think.  Have fun man, I love that place!

    Islamorada or Marathon or close to there.

    I agree that Marathon or Islamarada are cheaper and more water and fishing oriented, but, I would still recommend spending one night in Key West.
