I have a radius on 2 different scott rods and have been used for 3 years of hard fishing w/o any problems.

Do alot of nymphing here on the white river system and have my own definintions of nymphing but this thread made me ask myself if y2k’s, egg patterns, and such would be considered nymphing if defined by technique and not entomology.

not hard to figure out why the leader spent 7 days fishing before catching anything.

earlier in the year I looked at the Konic for a scott rod I bought but knowing that I tend to drop things on occassion made me upgrade to the radius which I have been very happy with over the past year.  The konic being cast is what scared me due to the fact that machined aluminum will dent/scar is dropped but my experience w/cast anything is that it will break/crack if dropped.

    Mtn Home, Arkansas

White water system some of the best trout fishing in the world.  Within a 2.5hr drive you can fish Norfork, Bull Shoals, Little Red, Taneycomo, and Beaver tailwaters.  Then you have the North Fork of the White between AR and MO which has wild fish.  On top of the trout you have some fantastic smallmouth and rock bass fishing on the Kings, Buffalo, and Eleven Points all within a 1-2 hr drive.  Then the best thing about  Mtn Home compared to living out west is your dollar goes alot farther.  The cost of living in Arkansas is low compared to the rest of the country.  Granted the beauty of the west is spectacular but North Arkansas/Southren Missouri has it own unique beauty.
