Thanks, Rich. This was an experiment with the whole process, music in/out, video intro, clip with narration. Hopefully they will get better. I found a wind control audio setting on my camera I’ll try. It seems to take a few second to adjust volume anyway.
As far as Mac issues, I don’t have anyway of testing it on the platform. I ran it in Safari for Windows fine. It also works in Firefox on my PC with the windows media plug-in.
My web stats show 95% windows usage, but still I would like to get it working cross platform somehow. Thanks for the help,

Joel, I did. It’s been a continual work in progress for more than a decade.

Matt — The Frying Pan below Reudi Dam is a classic tailwater, so it’s controlled by humans, not Ma Nature. My guess is that you can count on fishing close to the dam for wild rainbows and the occassional brown. Runoff is not usually a factor.
These fish are wild, highly educated, and challenging. But worth every second of your time.
From what I’ve heard, The Sweetwater Guide Schools are the best.
Plus when you finish, they’ll help place you in a job with an outfitter or lodge…..maybe even one of their own. I know they have lodges all over.
Also, you might try getting a job at a local fly shop/outfitters. Good guides are hard to find and a lot of outfitters have taken to training their own.
A few qualities that help.
1. Single man or woman with nothing to lose.
2. Ability to survive on little to no money in the off season.
3. The ability to save money during season is a great quality.
4. The love for fishing and showing others.
5. Being able to go fishing without actually fishing. (Hard for some, easy for others)
6. Good people skills. Able to teach, listen, and make the best for every skill level you might encounter.
7. Being a good fly tier with some speed in doing it. You’ll go through more flys than you could ever believe.
8. Being able to roll with the punches.I imagine guide school would teach some of this. But I think most guide schools focus on boat handling and people management.
Either way, let us know what you come up with. I know the outfitters I work with would love to have another guide.
I spent much of the afternoon at Norfork dam. A zoo really. The Corps started preventing people from walking across the bridge there were so many sightseers. I managed a few photos (http://www.flyflinger.com/photos.php).
Beaver – All 7 flood gates open 4th time to higher 5-feet level on 4/10
Table Rock – Record flood gate releases 4/10
Norfork – Record flood gate releases (open 6-feet on 4/10) 82,000 cfs with 12 gates and both generators, about 23 feet stage.
Bull Shoals powerhouse started all 8 units 4/10. May have to open flood gates.
Greers Ferry flood pool also filling up.
White River cresting at Norfork around midnight 4/10 at just over 40 feet. What it is just below the confluence is hard to say–scary I guess.
Calico Rock expecting near record or new record river stage, perhaps three feet higher than in March.What comes next depends on rainfall.

Here’s a couple of more options.
The railroad tie is locally available in some areas from welding/machine shops or possbily scrap yards. A six inch section weighs about 20lb. You can add sections of chain on to it to up the weight another 5-10 pounds when you need it for high flows. It grabs fairly well with the angles but “clangs” when it hits bedrock.
My friend used barbell weights. Just be sure you use a solid oversized stainless steel washer to hold them on. He lost his weights because the washer was too small and not stiff enough.
