Matt –

Usually I use the Channel Mixer and then edit heavily with Levels and with Selective Color (particularly bringing down the neutrals and blacks).

[Zach Matthews]

Yuhina –

Love the spacing and the regression to infinity in the first shot.

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Landon –

I think that’s the consumer show.

[Zach Matthews]

Mike –

For artistic purposes, I wish I could afford everything from 12-600mm in f/2.8, with polarizers, along with a collection of macros and primes and a Sherpa named Tilmuk to carry it all.

[Zach Matthews]

Dang dude.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Yuhina –

Weird.

[Zach Matthews]

What did it look like, Yuhina?

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Ralph –

Nautilus is a sponsor here and I photographed their catalog, so fair disclaimer, but I personally accepted payment for my services in the form of a 10/11 NV, I was so impressed.

[Zach Matthews]

To me, the biggest factor is in maneuverability in getting to and then moving around on the stream.

[Zach Matthews]

Good information, lucid explanation, as always, Gary.

[Zach Matthews]

Good lord, Haggerty, did somebody lose a red fire hydrant?!

[Zach Matthews]

You guys can always cross-link from here, but particularly to Dan’s excellent board.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Ironically, the clicker on the Gunnison is completely cosmetic and removable!

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Not possible, Gary; the clicker is the only check against free-spooling with that model.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

No kidding, Neal.

[Zach Matthews]

Well, as a newbie, city-dwelling tool, I think I speak for all of us when I say, no offense, man!

Hahahahah.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Richie –

Easy man, no one’s knocking the commitment of these guys or even the quality of the content – fundamentally the quality is excellent, there are just some decisions they’ve made so far which could easily break the other way and might make a better magazine.

[Zach Matthews]

while the Drake still arrives via Unicorn-Express

Hahahah.

[Zach Matthews]

They fit a niche, that is for sure, and I continue to admire their layout and design.

[Zach Matthews]

Hey speaking of, can anyone recommend a quality, economical deer sausage smoker, and possibly review a couple recipes?
