Yeah, look for the next American Angler; there’s a pretty comprehensive discussion of the fly fishing film industry in the opening pages (i.e. “Headwaters” section).

My longstanding policy on this site is not to offer reviews of other people’s media output unless they offer them for criticism here first. I think that’s only fair. I made an exception to that rule for the Fly Fishing Film Tour because I had not seen any reviews of the shows anywhere else, and I had been writing an article about the pieces and talking directly to many of those filmmakers in the weeks leading up to the event here in Atlanta.
That said, many of the photos on that website are beautiful and I think the guys posting here represented themselves very well.

Hey interesting that this should come up. I don’t mean to hijack the thread, but is there such a thing as a super long paddle for stand up rowing? I stand more than I sit when I’m fishing by myself in my canoe. Today I brought one of my pontoon oars; it worked great, but it’s heavy and slippery and too thick. Do they make paddles for stand up surfers or something? Anyone recommend an inexpensive one? I like my paddles like Ben Roethlisberger likes his women: cheap and [s:3bwxj00g]underage[/s:3bwxj00g], er, plastic…

A couple of quick things…
Search engines generally will not give much weight (if any) to “free” websites. They have no real investment and the websites have a tendency to come and go rather quickly. Search engines can’t afford to have dead links that go no where.
If you are looking to use the web to attract your targeted audience than you have to be sure to use the right keyword phrases that your target audience uses when searching for guides in your area. For example: “Cahaba guide service”, “Fishing guides Cahaba River”.
In your Title Tag dump “home”. You don’t want people searching “home”, you want fishermen searching for “Cahaba fishing guide”.
