Tim AngeliMemberanyone have any solid recipes for campfire food?
One of the easiest campfire meals I’ve found is to throw a bunch of veggies (potatoes, green beans, onions, etc.) and meat (ground or cubed) onto aluminum foil. Add a little water to “steam” the veggies and season to your liking. Wrap the aluminum foil around everything, fold at the joints to “seal” them, and punch a few holes as a vent. Stick it in the coals of the fire to cook. Open the foil up, eat, and then discard the foil, resulting in no dishes (except utensils).
It has always turned out pretty delicious for me, and everyone can make their own so they can add whatever they like. Did I mention no dishes?
Breakfast burittos are another one of my favorite camping meals.
Tim AngeliMemberAwesome stuff guys.
Tim AngeliMemberLooks like another great trip AO. There are some awesome shots in there, as usual. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to hear about your bull trout trip.

Tim AngeliMemberNeal,
Absolutely awesome stuff.
Tim AngeliMemberCongrats Lee!
Tim AngeliMemberAaron,
Awesome stuff as usual. Looks like an absolutely killer trip. Is that Jim Lampros (from this board) in some of those shots? I seem to remember him saying he was going to work for somewhere out around Jackson a while back, and I believe it was WorldCast Anglers. Looks a lot like him if it isn’t.

Tim AngeliMemberKP,
Do you ever fish the Bull River?
Tim AngeliMemberLike they all said, Galloup is the man when it comes to streamers.
Tim AngeliMemberKP, welcome.
Tim AngeliMemberAaron,
along the lines of what your were saing, I’m 23 and my dad is still my number one fishing buddy. The father/son fishing dynamic extends beyond fathers taking their young kids fishing.
Tim AngeliMemberSteve,
I have not reserved a campsite.
Tim AngeliMemberGreat stuff Aaron!
Tim AngeliMemberDavid,
Thanks!
Tim AngeliMemberNeal,
That’s not only a hockey trophy, that’s the hockey trophy. Lord Stanley’s Cup, which will no doubt be returning to its home in Detroit next season. 🙂Todd,
I have an older model, the W30.
Tim AngeliMemberWow, what a trip! Awesome report Lee, thanks for sharing it. It looks like you had an absolutely amazing time. I’m gearing up for an epic trip myself and your report definitely got me even more pumped to hit the road than I already was, which is saying a lot. Great stuff Lee.
Thanks,
Tim
Tim AngeliMemberThanks guys.

Tim AngeliMemberEric,
The weather cooled way down this week, which should prolong the hatch. I’m almost positive that it will still be going fairly strong this weekend. I’m planning to be back out there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. If you can get away any of those nights I would be glad to take you out and show you some spots to fish. Otherwise, feel free to PM me if you’re looking for more info. The hatch will work its way upstream as it progresses, so keep that in mind.
Good luck,
Tim
Tim AngeliMemberLooks like an excellent trip!
