For fishing …

I started carrying a WillyJ exodus pack this year and am really liking it. It allows me to carry a bunch of ‘stuff’, but it rides really nice. 😉

If I am going to hike and want to take more lens options .. I switch over to the Burton Zoom pack and reduce the ‘extra stuff’ factor a little.

Usually: Camera + 1 extra lens, small(er) net to screen for bugs, fly box(s), backup hat, shell, misc small bag (license, headlamp, allergy pills, sun screen, gum), small lomo film camera, katadyn water bottle, extra tippet, sinking line spool, floatant, flask, lunch, and a ghost net.

Hey Shane .. I’ll be doing the Guide School thing with the WorldCast Anglers crew this spring and taking photos for the website. I am pretty excited about it. In general, I think the whole guide school thing seems a great way to learn to row, get some knowledge, and feel comfortable … before buying a drift boat. Or, rowing a buddies boat!

BTW … it is pronounced Kruit (like fruit with a “k”) and bosch (like the artist)! Obviously, just as easy to pronounce as spell. LOL. 😉

Edit: Wait I just noticed “KruitSbosch” instead of Kruitbosch on the slide show. Ha! Is it really that much more difficult than Matthews? ;D
