    Episode 4 was there…downloaded and listened to it perfectly…now it is gone…and Episode 5 never showed up…ummm…

    I realize this will be out of your $100 set vise budget, but I would recommend the HMH Spartan pedestal vise.

    Great thread…and photographs…makes me want to pack up and hike in for a few days…

    Those “redlines” look perfect for the Scott “F” series in a light line weight…simple reels…and a box of dry flies…

    Thank you to everyone with your suggestions so far…

    I am going to have my father do some checking around with the fellows at the lake to see how deep they are fishing for them that time of year and may try to jump in the boat wtih one of them if possible.

    I like the leech pattern idea…and was also thinking that a deep clouser might do the trick.

    Well Steve…there is always the Filson Fly Fishing Strap Vest ($129) and the Foul Weather Fly Fish Vest ($165)…www.filson.com…

    PoudreRiver has the Foul Weather Fly Fish Vest…and it is quite nice…and works well over jackets.

    Well…my wader story still causes a strike of pain through the back of my leg with the just the thought of this ordeal…

    PoudreRiver a.k.a. Mike, a friend from Ohio, and I were spending a couple of days in RMNP looking for other alternatives to the river waters since runoff decided to start right at the beginning of our trip.

    Here’s another idea…the Outdoor Research hat for the warm summer months…and the Filson Packer hat for the cool wet months.
