MemberGreat to see ya again Cor and Doug. Thanks for the call Cor, had a blast!… fun day, great company.
Digging the images fellas!
Normally I’d post a few pics, BUT…I hate to admit it… I haven’t looked at any pics yet.. been on a long bender of: fish, shoot, download & repeat.
Bryan Gregson
MemberThanks Cor!… and fellas!
WOW, it’s certainly been a humbling, and thrilling, experience. Who would’ve thunk eh?…. I’ve yet to see a print copy, hopefully soon.J – Idaho is definitely a fun place…. after 4 weeks of either rain or snow, the sun has finally come out. The Ranch section on the Henry’s Fork is just getting underway, bugs are popping and fish are looking up…come on up!

MemberSweet! I’ll toss my hat in.

MemberZach – MT all the way!!!

MemberThanks for the feedback guys!
Tim – although the catching has been off and on, its nice to walk a few paces to the water to wet a line. Looking forward to the plethora of hatches that are about to start… Green Drakes, Grey Drakes, Brown Drakes, LYS, PMD, etc are only a few weeks away!
Dave – yeah, seriously ; )… I’m always looking for tips, critique, advise, etc. I’ve received some exceptional feedback from this site over the year, it’s definitely helped me to improve/learn for the next time.
Steve – I too think of Star Wars when I look at that image… the “sand people” come to mind ; )

MemberHa ha ha!.. guess I’ll just have to miss that secluded hatch ; )
Thanks for words… AND the help Cor!! I do appreciate the use of the lens! And yes, I’ll be investing in a high grade macro soon. Get back up here, got a few fish to show ya.

MemberBryan, as a self proclaimed fish photo critic and subscriber to a magazine (which admittedly i get mostly for the photos) your first shot is the best of the lot so far, by far in my opinion…with your 4th as a distant second, the 1st could be better if your head wasnt chopped…but if i was picking up a magazine i could see myself admiring the 1st. I am by no means a professional, although i think if you gave me the thousand dollar gear some have i’d be quite easily 😉
Thanks for the feedback, Colin…. I really appreciate it.
I too agree with the “head chop”. I’ve always been so focused on shooting the fish and not the dude, cause its all about the fish anyhow. BUT there is a downside, my images rarely have a face and in this situation, I could have expanded my horizons, ha ha. I’m learning the hard way (standard for me) to shoot a variety of shots ; ) Live and learn, well, that’s the hope right!

MemberLooks like a killer trip!!… thanks for sharing. The Big Hole is a really fun river, I hope to make it back there one day.
Looks like you bumped into Wilcox (guide wearing the tie-dye shirt)

MemberGreat stuff Cor, nice to see you had one last session!!
.. sigh .. its a sad sad day for Utah’s recreational water users.

MemberI’ll toss a few in…might not be cover worthy, but I got nothing to lose ; ) Thanks for posting this unique opportunity, Zach.

MemberHi Neal…
I’ll try and fill ya in the best I can.
I work closely with Willy-J in a few departments, one of these is R&D. I regularly use a HYDRO prototype and am pleased with the results thus far. The HYDRO series is currently undergoing a few tweaks to the design and I am excited to see a final product, hopefully soon. As you know, the HYDO series has been in a “testing phase” for a while now. A few small hiccups occurred, one specifically was with the manufacturer and unfortunately caused the current delay.
Willy-J has a 100% guarantee so offering a solid product for retail sale is of the highest of priorities. During production a few unforeseen kinks created a choice… either…push a sub-quality product because they’ve already “sold” to retail stores and paid for advertising, cost etc,… or refund the money, bite the bullet ,work out all the kinks, then let it go when its ready…final choice was to wait.
FWIW – A new Website will be launching shortly.
Hope this helps
Bryan
