Joel –
You haven’t heard anything because I have been photographing Nautilus Reels’ catalog and I am freaking swamped.
Eric has it – I appreciate being able to keep my own work; in bigger outfits a lot of photographers are making shots “for” their employers’ archives.
Usually around 10-10:30 Eastern, but you guys are more than welcome to chat in my absence (and the chat room is always open.)
Mike –
That’s essentially the LC-13 shooting head setup that’s been popular with Dan Blanton’s board for years.
Jake –
If you’re just looking to *fish* with a bamboo rod, you can get almost anything, from a South Bend off eBay up to an imported Tea Stick.
I’d think about the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, possibly Maine’s Hundred Mile Wilderness, or Alaska.

Tom is supposed to be interviewed this week, actually.

EDIT: The ever-elusive Mr. Bie has still not appeared for an interview.
Hey Scott –
Only you know what your time is worth, of course, but I guarantee you Simms would appreciate the chance to look at them, and you’d probably get a new set of waders to give away as a Christmas present or something.
