Ron, you’re in Georgia, right? Best place would probably be Jack’s Firearms right next to The Fish Hawk. Totally nice guy, totally up-and-up, lots of great guns on the walls and I’m sure he knows how to get less-great guns.
As it happens, I am about to buy my first o-u shotgun myself, from James Buice. He’s got a Beretta 686 Black Onyx (all-blued, field-grade, but very nice). It’s a 12 gauge; hopefully I’ll be overkilling on doves and squirrels this fall then bringing down a few pheasants in Arkansas over the winter.

Don’t worry about criticizing my alleged skill – I can’t hold a candle to half the serious photographers on this board, and I mostly rely on the camera to do what it can.

Eventually, yes, the Great Lakes steelhead will become a different subspecies, so long as they can reproduce in their new water.
I am not going to moderate or cut this debate off, but I will offer my opinion about it:
Semantic linguistic debates about common names for fish are ridiculous.

There are reasons behind all of the “rules” that have been laid down (or at least told to me) by my various editors.
The trick is mostly to angle the fish so that no part of it is horizontal to the lens; that way it won’t blow out when the flash bounces back.
Also, John, just from an editorial perspective, I will tell you that while these images are looking really good, the ones of the guy holding them out of the water at chest level would probably be unsellable.
