MemberNeal,
I just pulled a mirror from our bathroom, put some florist’s putty on a fly, and snapped this photo:

The double reflection from the mirror isn’t good, but if I use a single-surface reflector, will I be on the right track?

MemberNeal,
Since reading your posts I’ve been referring to my office as the Man Cave.

MemberNeal,
Great photos.
Is it an intellectual property issue, or can you share the method you use to get the reflection with the blue background?

MemberKeith: Thanks for the selection chart. Do you have a reference for the book? No doubt about it, you have provided real assistance.
Shannon: I checked Amazon, and we should both be able to get one of the Best books. Turns out this hide has its tail removed. However, when I commented about that my friend said he could bring me a few tails. Perhaps he wronged me in the past and this is some sort of propitiation. (I have now typed that word a total of two times in my life, both in this post.)
Cheers!

I’m open for suggestions on improving the fly, but, of course, constrained by abilities.
