Interviewed the Becks this morning and they were both very informative and very entertaining.
Since this is always a hot topic, regardless of its price, SA’s Sharkskin has proven to be one of the highest selling lines ever introduced.
It’s really tough to put music to a sport that really is as much about the sounds of the water, the birds, and the absence of noise as much as it is about the catching.
I have a Filson waxed cotton jacket. The plain truth is that it is not as good as gore-tex. But it smells cool. And it looks cool. And it works well enough. And it would stop a bullet – let alone briar and barbed wire. And I love it.

I ran across a couple for almost $400! I thought surely for that price I’m buying American right,,, wrong! Made in China.

Recently, people have been getting more into chasing Great Lakes salmon, steelhead, and browns (or really anything else) with fly rods in the surf – using tactics similar to those used on the East Coast for strippers.
