Tim AngeliMemberCorey,
Great report and awesome pictures!
Tim AngeliMemberMany of these have already been mentioned, but here are some of my favorites:
Circus peanut, zoo cougar, sex dungeon, mad pup, heifer groomer, butt monkey, rattlesnake, T&A, ….
Check out Kelly Galloup’s website.
Tim AngeliMemberI’m not an expert, but I’ll share what I know. June is probably going to be too early for Slough Creek and the rest of the northeast corner of the park (Lamar, Soda Butte, etc.). That section of the park is usually the last to clear from runoff. This year, it didn’t clear until mid-late July. However, it a gorgeous area if you’re looking for somewhere to head for a hike. The trail to Hellroaring Creek is pretty darn scenic with a very cool bridge crossing the Yellowstone.
Every year is different, but I’d be willing to bet those rivers won’t be clear by early June. Blue Ribbon Flies is a good resource, they’ve always shown me very good customer service. You might want to look into the Gibbon, and I would expect the Firehole and Madison to both still be fishing well then. If you’re near the NW corner, the Gallatin will be close. I’ve heard good things about the East Fork, but that was years ago and I’ve never checked it out for myself. I’m sure you’ll have fun where ever you end up.
Cheers,
Tim
Tim AngeliMemberMike,
Do you prefer the Emulator articulated or not? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that’s a Feenstra pattern. He has some really good stuff.
