Tim AngeliMemberJoel,
Got my shirts yesterday.
Tim AngeliMemberAlso, they are more likely to come apart when being cast. (I’ve broken several ferrules; so now I make sure I check my connections every two hours or so.)
A good solution is to use parafin wax on the ferrules every so often.
Tim AngeliMemberRob,
It used to be that a 2-piece vs. a 4-piece rod exhibited a noticable difference in action and feel.
Tim AngeliMemberBest title ever.
Tim AngeliMemberJohn,
Zach hit the nail on the head about Yellowstone.
Tim AngeliMemberAaron,
I want to be you.
Tim AngeliMemberGrant,
I’m pretty sure I’m allergic to the dear hair; every time I start working with it my allergies go into a fit.
Same thing happens to me when tying spun deer hair heads. I think I’m going to have to start taking benadryl before tying.

Tim AngeliMemberThanks guys. I’ll try not to do anything too stupid. 🙂
Jack, I’m excited to get out on the Au Sable and Manistee and hopefully use the pontoon to cover more water than I usually do when I’m wading. It looks like I should hit perfect timing for the hendricksons. According to the reports they just started a little over a week ago and have been coming off well since. I just got a new 3wt. for a graduation present today that I’m looking forward to breaking in on those afternoon hatches.
Thanks again,
Tim
Tim AngeliMemberI agree that its a great video, but I somewhat disagree about getting more information. I really liked the video as is, and as much as I would love to know where they were fishing so I could go there myself, I think the lack of information actually adds to the video. I also think it portrays a message of getting out there and finding your own place like that…off the beaten path, unpopulated, gorgeous scenery, and great fishing.
As for the location, one of the fish it shows is a bull trout. From the information I’ve seen they are only found in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and a tiny spot in Nevada. Chasing down some bull trout is definitely on my fishing bucket list; they look like really cool fish and will absolutely demolish streamers. I definitely agree that it’s a really good video clip. Looks like an amazing place.

Tim AngeliMemberGreat photos Cameron, thanks!
Tim AngeliMemberYou deserve a hearty congrats Corey!
Tim AngeliMemberLee, that second shot you posted is awesome!
Tim AngeliMemberGood stuff Randy.
Tim AngeliMemberGreat stuff John.
Tim AngeliMemberJoel,
Wrote the check tonight and will stick it in the mail tomorrow.
Tim AngeliMemberJake,
RMNP is a great place and is a very under-rated fishing destination in my opinion.
Tim AngeliMemberI have not cast the 9’6″ version of either rod, but have experience with the 9′ version of both.

Tim AngeliMemberAwesome stuff as usual Aaron!
Tim AngeliMemberThat looks like a really cool place, not to mention some gorgeous scenery.
Tim AngeliMemberYou might have some luck at attaining something close to the desired effect of the watermelon soft plastic by twisting together dark green chenille with some estaz cactus chenille in whatever color you want the sparkles to be.
