Well actually Neal I used a few that we tied for the carp swap, and yes I tied some of my own. Thanks for the complament on how pretty she is, because what lady does not like to hear that. I keep telling her that guys love to see a girl who enjoys fishing and in my case with a fly rode. I was so happy that she was able to bring one to hand because I feared that they might be a little to stronge of a fight for her but she came through like a champ. 🙂

Well she is still a novice and if you want to loan her one of your nice rods be my guest ;D. You know just as well as myself that that is one stronge fish and for someone who is not quite sure on how to fight a fish that size the right way, I made the right choice.

I thought that was the plan Dusty that we try all the fish we catch, and she landed it herself. I tought my girl well.

Thanks Abe for the help, I need to try that. The good news is I have a few weeks until I will need them so it gives me time to get them right.

Thanks Dusty I used bunny for the tail, and marabou for the beard and I think it turned out really nice. Also i took your advice and did not rap the vinyl so many times.
