MemberThanks for the advice Neal, I will try that next time i go to the shop and get materals. Right now im working with zonked Pine Squirrel, and I am having all kinds of trouble with gitting the fibers to lay the right way.
nick davis
MemberThanks Dusty I will try wraping the squirrel less, and post a picture of one when I am done.
Thanks again

MemberMy second and third attempts were better Dusty, but I am still having problems with cementing the fibers down when I am trying to get the knot.
nick davis
MemberThanks Neal I see what your saying about the fibers getting caught, and how I need to extend it more towards the back of the hook.
nick davis
MemberThat is a nice Carp, where about did you catch it at?
nick davis
MemberI like what you did with the pic, but maybe you should take some pointers from your friend who took the pics of you and the fish lol. Keep studying up on it bro and you will have it down pretty soon.
nick davis
MemberI could get it all, but the only thing that would get me would be the diff injuries and treatment. Sometimes my brother get done with a day of fishing and sit down to have a beer and start wondering what that bite is or what scached us lol. Maybe We should get reaquainted with all that again. Have a good day guys and good luck on your next days fishing.

MemberMark that was probably Carp and like Tim said tie on a bugger and cast just past them and slowly strip it towards them or at least that works for me. Also try some Crawfish pattern thats a rust color. Good Luck

MemberYeah Dusty im with Scott and John in that I like the second one more. Also John you might want to check out O.H. Ivy if you want some big LMB, but its the wrong time of year. So keep that in mind for like next March.
