Fishing for Buffalo in Texas

Here are a few pics of my girl and I flyfishing the L.L.E.L.A in Texas, let me know what you guys think.
I think you made the cast, hooked the Buffalo, let her fight it for a minute, then took the rod back and landed the fish. Those are some nice Buffs though. I heard they come out very well if properly smoked! But I hope I never get that hungry.
I thought that was the plan Dusty that we try all the fish we catch, and she landed it herself. I tought my girl well.
And by the looks of it, you put her on your BP rod. For Shame!! If she knew any better she would kick you in the twig ‘n’ berries herself.
D.Well she is still a novice and if you want to loan her one of your nice rods be my guest ;D. You know just as well as myself that that is one stronge fish and for someone who is not quite sure on how to fight a fish that size the right way, I made the right choice.
Well actually Neal I used a few that we tied for the carp swap, and yes I tied some of my own. Thanks for the complament on how pretty she is, because what lady does not like to hear that. I keep telling her that guys love to see a girl who enjoys fishing and in my case with a fly rode. I was so happy that she was able to bring one to hand because I feared that they might be a little to stronge of a fight for her but she came through like a champ. 🙂
