MemberSorry Zach, but we are raising boys to be sissy’s these days. I’m suprised that we have not replaced circumcision with castration.
I wouldn’t say we all are………………..pretty sure mine could hold his own against a lot of grown men.
At 14, he schooled a “skilled” angler last week.

MemberTwo words.
F*CK YES!

MemberI went fishing sans a woman.

MemberAnd possibly 10 feet instead of 10 inches?
To me, boat rods are something that are work horses and I could care less if they get beat up. A lot of nice rods have been listed, but I like those Ross rods. The FC is a nice stick for the price and I could care less when the dog steps on it and breaks the thing. But it sounds like maybe you should be looking at a nice 8 wt. tossing those streamer rigs. Makes for an easier day, that’s for sure.

MemberDid you do anything for a foot, or just leave it “as is”?

MemberTwo questions:
1. How wide is that boat.
b. what is that pole? Just a piece of boo?Oh, and x2 on the beard.

MemberI thought this was another Bil Laden thread.

MemberThe river hasn’t blown out………………..yet.

Oh, and the bison took a grass carp fly-600lb. tippet. It was a bitch taking that fly out of his mouth.

MemberIt seems I look primarily for native fisheries. These places take me away from development, and most often on public land. Which is another issue: access. Kinda why my home state of Wyoming isn’t in my #1 slot. Also why less-populated states are my favorite locales.
Man, you really contradicted yourself here. Wyoming has great opportunities for native fish (ie-Cuttslam), vast amounts of public land, and is the least populated state in the nation.
But still sucks for fishing.

MemberFabulous.

MemberWe were targeting tarpon so the leader was 40 lb. -the fight was only a couple of minutes. Luckily I was able to turn his head soon and keep him from running into some root balls. I did hook a few tarpon but never got one to the boat. Had a marginal shot at a permit, but whacked the bones. I can’t get back soon enough.
Thanks Zach…………..I am officially off the market. However, I landed a good one. She is all for me taking off to NC to chase tailing reds and AJ’s off shore before the wedding, and we will be making the triangle hauling the drift boat for the honeymoon. We will spend a night in Jackson, Irwin, Island Park, then back home through the Park.

MemberI sold my soul to Carhartts. I saw the shoes in the shop and thought they looked nice. They seem like a great boat shoe and something I could wear to work as well.

MemberJoel, I think he just called you a b!tch.
Tim, just out of curiosity, how old are you?
Mark Landerman
MemberNo worries mate! 🙂
Mi casa es su casa
Hope I got that right Debbie! ::)
You get a “A” on your Spanish Simon! Back at you for when you come to Montana!
You could say,
“Mi casa es Chu casa!”

Thank you, thank you. I will be here all week……………and don’t forget to tip your waitress.

MemberJoel,
Very very nice. I am truly envious of your adventure. Thanks for taking the time to share.

MemberWho else agrees with Mark that Yellowstone NP does not have noteworthy fishing?
OK, I will give you Yellowstone, but the rest of that God-forsaken state sucks.
