    I could recount stories like everyone else has, grandparents dying, friends trying to quit, etc…, but I will not.
    I have never smoked because I hated being around family that did it.

    I will just say best of luck with your attempt to quit, and when you really want to quit you will.

    Along the same line, another cool piece I found this morning on MidCurrent.com
    [glow=yellow,2,300]Zach Matthews’s “Gear of the Year” in American Angler’s January/February ’09 issue is well worth reading if only because they guy has a nose for innovation and sees the whole collection of new gear through a wider lens.[/glow]

    I know Monic has a clear line that is for salt and I thought it was a floater.
    There was an article on Midcurrent last week about the new Courtland line.

    Ok well here is another point, again I have no scientific stuff, just what I have read on this one.
    I believe it is Coutrland that just came out with a new clear line tha tis not made of PVC.

    I do not have much to offer in the way of scientific evidence, but I was recently in an Orvis store purchasing a new 4wt, and I needed line to go on the reel that came with it.

    maybe I meant I am not worthy of such a rod, at this point in time.

    I know we have a guy in GA named Bill Oyster that has a class, and I know some guys that have taken his class and their rods are unreal.

    Rob, Obviously I am not a certified instructor but I can only guess that being certified would give you more credibility and might help you to become a better teacher of the craft.

    I believe there is a recent pod cast where a gentleman speaks about his guide schools, but I am pretty sure they are in the Western US.

    There is a guy that guides in New Zealand named Louie the Fish you might want to contact, he spilts time between Hawaii and NZ, but I know he has a house there.
