I will actually be fishing out of Murrell’s Inlet with Shannon Curry.
I have fished the area several times, but never this late in the year.I should be in the area next weekend and I hope to find the same luck you did.

It was a foam head that looked very very real and it floated nose up out of the water.I have heard of the nose trick before (I just need to remember it when I am at the bench).

good luck with the demos, and can we see one when you get it finished?from what I have read, some people think that big flies, like an articulated fly can be, will get bitten from the head more than the tail so removing the back hook is not a problem.
I read something about guys using finishing nails as their second “hook” to attach the material.
Not sure how that would work. I guess they would just put thred over it as well as the front hook to bind them together.Does anyone know of a good tutorial?

What people do not understand (unless they have been to that spot) from you first picture it that the river should be about 1/4 mile closer to the other side than where that picture was taken.
