I will be doing fly tying demos and classes this winter and want some input and your thoughts about the set up I use.  Last year, I bought a 26″ HDTV to use for the classes.  I don’t own a camcorder, but borrowed a friends and it worked good.  I can’t keep borrowing it so I need to buy my own.  It was a standard def. camera and the picture was good but I know that a HD camera would probably be better but the price is also higher.  Can anyone recommend a good HD camera?  Are the little pocket ones OK for what I am doing?  Do I need an $800.00 camera to get sharp images on the screen?  Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks guys for the tips.  I am working on lineing up tying demos this winter at a local shop.  Wish you guys could see the tiers I have lined up!  Rick Takahashi, Landon Mayer, Walt Mueller (“The Otter” as in Otter Eggs) and hopefully Ed Engle and Charlie Craven just to name a few.   Maybe I can post some clips here so you can see.
