MemberMany years ago I forgot to put the plug in my shotgun before going duck hunting.

MemberDid you say you put eight shells in your shotgun or you only took eight shells?

MemberI’ll find out where Marc got that grill. I think he said it’s new on the market. I’m going to insist that he use it on our subsequent trips.
That’s Marc’s Boulder Boatworks. Talk about comfortable.
Marc is a really good instructor and introduced me to his Scott S4s 6wt. with 250 grain sink tip. Nice set up and very successful in that low flow environment.
Unfortunately the past weekend’s snow and rain raised the lake 3ft and now they’re running 7 units. That’s tailwater fishing for you!

MemberMike, what about the snow pack. Can we expect a low water year out there?
Thanks,

MemberMatt,
Check out the Dallas Fly Fishers Club website (http://www.dallas-flyfishers.org/). They are very involved in teaching the Fly Fishing Merit Badge.

MemberReally like the Abel .5 on the Winston LT 5wt and Ross Gunnison 1 & 2 on the Scott 4 & 5 wts. I generally like a classic look. However, just went out on a limb and purchased the Waterworks Velocity Hard Alox for a 6wt as my entry to the large arbor arena.

MemberTim,
Beavers Bend State Park outside Broken Bow, OK is a 3 hr. drive depending on where you live in Dallas.

MemberThanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge. The trip planning has been given a huge boost. I can’t imagine a fly fishing destination that IA members have not experienced. Keep those cards and letters coming in!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
