    Hey Scott,
Would you mind doing a step by step picture sequence?

    Thanks

I guess I will wait and see what the WJ Hydro series is going to be like. The Simms also seems kind of small.

    Mike,

What I did was buy a 30# dumbell, which was really cheap and had a friend weld a curved loop onto the center of the grip. This worked great and was really cheap. I would just clip my caribener to the loop and I was ready to go.

I had no problems getting this anchor to stop my boat and no problems with it hanging up either.

From my own experience noise can easily spook fish. I was stalking a huge brown on the White a few months ago and my foot kicked a small rock on the bottom and the fish immediatly left the area. I was in a foot of water and the fish was twenty feet away. HEARTBREAKING!!!!

I noticed Simms only offers the new Rivershed boots with Aquastealth/ studs. Are the studs permanent on most boots or can they be easily removed. I dont want to be in a situation where someone is insistent on me not getting in their boat with studs.

The STP price is very tempting but I am still undecided for now. How is the sizing I am 5’11 205.

Is that a typical October Zach? Not in the size of fish in the pics but a good overall time to target larger brown trout. Is low water the usual that time of year?

I purchased the S4 905-4 and after fishing it hard for a week I really like it. It is pretty stiff but has a softness to the tip for protecting light tippet. I never broke a fish off, even a couple of big fish on 6x.

Like Zach stated it throws tight loops and excels at distance. I feel it is a fishing machine and as some have stated a cannon disguised as a feather. Also, Scott customer service is great.

    Hey Cameron,

We fished several patterns during the week but consistently took most of the larger fish on the SJW including her big fish.

Latex gloves is the only thing that worked for me when my B2X would not come apart. I tried everything and wearing latex gloves and twisting in oppisite directions worked great.

    The White.

I am headed to the Norfork in a couple of weeks and hoping for some big boys.

I caught this beast last fall in 8 inches of crystal clear water after I just about walked right past him. It is amazing how well fish can blend in with the bottom. It is definitely one of my more memorable fish.

I have some friends who fished the White in May and had three fish over sixteen pounds including a huge twenty two pound female. I love that river system. I have been on several night fishing trips where some huge browns were landed.

Nice pics Andrew. I like the second shot of the blank better. You get more of the snake belly showing up. That is a really funky reel seat. It will be interesting to see how it is received by the masses.

The reel seat, cork, and logo would be great.

Do you feel it is a solid all around 5 weight, or by saying it is fickle do you feel it is very unpredictable and erratic? And how does it differ from the S3? I am really hoping this is as good as it is being billed by Scott.

    Hey Zach,

Is the new Winston series a saltwater series or does it come in trout weights also?
