    There’s already a 49 MP medium format back out – the Phase one P45.

    I’ve seen some shots with it done on a Hasselblad and all I can say is WOW !

    Sure it’s more than you need for the mags but still has a place in the business.
    Pictures from this set-up have a certin ‘glow’ like a 4’x5′ tranny that you get close to but never quite reach on even the best 35mm digital.

    I’ve also been looking at Alpa cameras with the new digital designed wide lenses and 30 MP backs from Leaf – again the quality is just wicked, you can almost smell a picture from one.

    Mind you I wouldn’t want to take a $40,ooo back ( camera not included
