Steve…SPOT sent a unit for Mike Carlson and I to use during the Cuttie-Thon event we participated in back in 2008.
IFTD was a very good time. I’ll be attending, along with Mrs. Manifesto, next year. New Orleans should be excellent.

Matt…I like tenkara angling but agree finding the right line that works for you is the part to work out. I like the TenkaraUSA lines that I have but now have another half dozen other lines to try once my Ayu comes back to me from a friend.

[/align:25oe4wkp]I had an absolute blast fishing the Ayu last summer on the Arkansas River using small dries, stimi/droppers, and double nymph rigs. It does it all pretty damn well.
