That’s about the saddest post I’ve read here. This thing really sucks. If you have ever seen the documentary about Exxon Valdez 20 years after, it is really disturbing how little was actually done to clean it up. they are still scraping rocks with an oily film. I fear the same will happen here.

I watched most of the hearing with Tony Hayward. What a joke. “Hayward said he wants his life back”, selfish SOB. 11 of his own are dead and the worlds ocean is jacked up. Yet he wants his life back.
I’m tied to mine all week 24-7, d**n me all to h*ll if im going to carry it on the water, where 90% of the time it wouldn’t work anyway where I fish.
Golden Drakes. We get them here on the Yough, they pull out of their nymphal shuck through slow, deep water and the fish wait for them just as they break through the film.
The Hexes I have seen on Lake Erie and in MI are WAY bigger than that.

The box is called a FYE box, This is the predecessor to the Rex Richardson Chest Fly box. Ronald Fye built the first ones for George Harvey in Hollidaysburg, PA. This one in particular is my brookie box- all attractors, all the time and ONLY dry flies! It is a 1951, two tray model with original straps. This is the box that Joe Humphreys uses, but in a 4 or 5 tray. I also have a 1960s model, signed by Rex Richardson and is a 4 tray in black. They are very nice, and in PA they are a staple.
