Andrew – I think we did. Fantastic places huh?

Cameron – ask and ye shall receive. I went back and changed them to 800 instead of 4.

I’m definitely in for the next one – I just got a new Peak vise and I’m ready to hit the bench hard.

Aaron, my girlfriend saw your big ‘ole muskie fly on the table yesterday and nearly keeled over – she thought it was a big bug or something.  That must mean it’s good for the fish…..

    Mark- Big fish eat it.

Nice photos and story to go with them..

That south fork looks like a great little stream, how did you go with the brookies ?

David – brookies were small. A monster was 8 inches. We didn’t stick around very long.

Paul – will see you tomorrow.

Tim – Catching a flight today to meet Paul – I’ll be back in August, I’m going to organize a meet and fish at my folks house in Stillwater area. Sorry didn’t work out this time.

Here are some shots of my father, my son, and myself fishing on the stream where I learned to fish. I’m sorry for photo quality, the PDA has been dropped a few times at this point.

    Hudson looking cool.

    Version 2.5 getting it done.

Grandpa and Grandson doing it old school, swinging a wetfly.

    And the hookup

    The hero shot

    The release

Second Fish, this one on a caddis.

    The release

Most likely, the last time all three of us will ever fish together again.

BlackBerry is dead from being dropped in the water too many times and it’s time to go home.  Next week, live from Yellowstone.  Sigining off, from Minnesota.

    D-

Here is what I was thinking. Your photo struck a chord with me. I’ve been working over a story for a few years now.
