MemberI spent the last few days in and out of Yellowstone chasing fins with a brother. We set out in search of the epic hatch, here is what we found. At sixty miles per hour it sounds like you’re flying into a flock of birds crashing off your windshield. One moment you’re talking, the next celebrating through wiper blades swishing away goo as fast as possible, just so you can see.

The stones lead us to places famous,

and some places not.

They lead us through some places beautiful.

In the end, this huge bug,

lead us to a few fish,

and a few of these.

We packed up the car,

took one last look and headed south. Thankful for the biggest bug out there.

MemberAndrew – I think we did. Fantastic places huh?
Cameron – ask and ye shall receive. I went back and changed them to 800 instead of 4.

MemberLooks like a fantastic trip .. Thanks for sharing. Great photos. Way to go! Looks like you found the big bugs and got into some nice browns. I especially like the “huge bug” on the water shot. Your report really makes me look forward to getting up that way again, in a month or so! 🙂

Jim LamprosMemberAaron,
All fantastic pictures, but the last one is amazing. That is a special piece of water and that picture really captures the excitement of laying eyes on it for the first time (or the 50th!). Thanks much for sharing!
