The Itinerant AnglerHey Greg-
They are debuting it in Denver this week and I expect it will be available within a month or two.

The Itinerant AnglerHey guys-
For what it’s worth, this is my sketch of the perfect pack.

The Itinerant AnglerCoolest thing about John Voelker – he was a Michigan Supreme Court Justice from 1957 on, as well as a flyfisherman and author.

The Itinerant AnglerHey Troutgirl-
I have never been bonefishing, but look into the Ascension Bay area of Belize.
Zach Matthews
The Itinerant AnglerHey Kyle-
Glad to see you, hope Hurrican Katrina didn’t cause any trouble during her first pass.
Troutgirl-
Kyle’s right, that is good gear, although I totally understand not wanting all hand-me-downs.

The Itinerant AnglerHahahah, that handle sounds like the name of a Muppet.

The Itinerant AnglerTX-
I’ve never published a book so you’ll have to take this with a grain of salt, but my understanding is you write up a query of three or so chapters with a table of contents and an outline, then send it to various publishing houses.

The Itinerant AnglerHey TXFlyBum-
I’m a little unsure about that, TxFlyBum.

The Itinerant AnglerHey Greg-
Your wife wouldn’t be Tina would she?

The Itinerant AnglerHey Greg-
I lost my post due to the windstorm Katrina is causing here in Knoxville.
I am from Rogers, Arkansas originally and probably fished many of the same waters you fish.

The Itinerant AnglerOne more note: for those of you who aren’t down with the fashion-palette lingo (myself included) the following translation of the Aspire’s “champagne russet” finish was provided by Lauren:
Sparkly rust.
So there you have it.

The Itinerant AnglerHahaha, yes, it cost $85 retail.

The Itinerant AnglerMatt-
Have you heard the trick about charging the Lumalux with a few shots of flash from the camera yet?
Zach Matthews
The Itinerant AnglerJust to round out my meandering observations I will say that:
1) it takes a long time to make these shots, about 1 minute per exposure due to use of timer on camera for sharpness, exposure time, and above all WRITE time on the digital camera; basically I think it is around 60% of the exposure time to write the image to a file.

The Itinerant AnglerHey Gemini-
I waited on answering this one until I had a few more results.
The stars shots are proving difficult, even in a very dark place like Yellowstone.
Zach Matthews
The Itinerant AnglerHey Eric-
Ok, I see now.
Zach Matthews
The Itinerant AnglerEric-
Could you do me a favor and recommend a fly shop that covers Lake Cadillac up there?
Zach Matthews
The Itinerant AnglerGemini-

2.

The Itinerant AnglerHey Eric-
Welcome to the board and thanks for giving Gemini bette feedback than I could – I am not a Canon guy.
How did you find the site, and do you also fly fish or are you more in the photography line?

The Itinerant AnglerSage’s 2006 catalog was waiting at the Creel.
The TCR is now available in a #4, which ought to make a great light tarpon rod (hahahahahahaha).
The VPS is discontinued and replaced with something whose name I recall as the VLT, though that is probably wrong.
