    I know Zach, I know…

I should have gone with a Nikon, but the Rebel was more in my price range and I am extremely impatient.

ALso, a good tripod is a must for really serious photos, like storms and lighting.

    Hey Eric-

Welcome to the board and thanks for giving Gemini bette feedback than I could – I am not a Canon guy.

How did you find the site, and do you also fly fish or are you more in the photography line?

In one way, I wish I would have bought the Digital Rebel — for the sole purpose that the D30 digital SLR (3.2mp) is only like $345 on ebay and I could have kept that for my on the water camera.

    Eric-

Could you do me a favor and recommend a fly shop that covers Lake Cadillac up there?

I am not sure of any fly shops right in that area, but check out http://www.fishbaldwin.com.
