The Park was way, way over the limits of what it should naturally have carried in elk and deer (and arguably in bison – google up “brucellosis” sometime).
One of the interesting effects of the wolf reintroduction has been that elk and deer species have to avoid the open bottomlands where they had been making their living since the 1920s.
Nice to have them back in the park now they need to come up with a management plan.
I think that’s totally fair.
It debuted on Sunday the 4th, but it should be running all week in re-runs until the next episode comes out.
I have not trashed mine, it is holding up well, but I sort of saw going into this that this was going to be a limited use tripod.
