Thanks again for the level of detail on this stuff Zach. I’ve had my Riverhawk for close to two years and plan to start customizing a bit now that I’ve fished from it enough to know what I want. I went back and looked at your old posts on modifying your Gheenoe as well. Very helpful.
Um, yeah. I’m interested. Good stuff right there Zach. I’m just south of Chattanooga and usually fish Chickamauga and Nickajack. I’m sure some of those Green Monster lights are out there.
Don’t fish much at night and need to get my Riverhawk rigged with lights. Appreciate the info on those LED strips. Those look great. I assume fairly durable?

Great thread! Scouted some carp flats this week on the Tennessee river and gar were everywhere. And I mean everywhere.
Carp are starting to move up onto the flats here in N. Georgia. Won’t be long before carping here is wide open.
Not really asking for this. More like wishing. But as far as having my eye on something special, this is it:
An old Orvis Silver Label 8’6″ 5 wt. My first decent fly rod. It has travelled with me from Tennessee to Montana to Michigan and everywhere in between.
A close second would be a ratty old fishing hat I bought over a decade ago in a fly shop in Grayling. It finally disintegrated in the washing machine. My wife thought she would do me a favor and clean it. I’d rather not talk about it.
