nice TR Zach…it’s been 20+ years since I’ve been to Cumberland Island, no hog problem then…still a cool place.
Bob was right on the Houstonia serpyllifolia…they are on the cover of Wildflowers of the Smokies. At first I thought you where starting on a “Hazel Creek via Clingman’s Dome” trip… 😉here’s  the info…these guys are both great for Flamingo

RickI’ll check with a couple friends and see if they are still fishing out of Flamingo. Most guides I know in the area are in the Keys in April chasing Tarpon. They have had a pretty cold/wet winter down there so personally, I’d be headed to the Everglades for Snook….
Give me  a day or two and I’ll get you some names….I have 4 Tibor Lights and the tippet protection(startup inertia), big fish or small is perfect, even though mine are the older non CL type.
I have fished them from 8wt in the Everglades on some decent sized Snook and Tarpon to down 3wt.
I don’t think I’d ever use anything else…
