Tim, I fish for spotted bass in rivers and creeks and I would say that most of my fishing is done with clousers, fodders, and stealth bombers in varying sizes. But by the same token I try to use a six weight for everything. Though I will likely pick up a new 8 and 4wt. this year though.
Alright so from what I gathered from the site, the magnum is pretty similar to the saltwater line except that it is a half size heavy, right? The Titan, is that a new taper for SA? How does it roll cast? Does it do well in long distance line control, or is it more of a shooting line?

What is the big difference between this line and a triangle tapered line? Also when you say it is the European GPX, does that mean that it is half weight heavy too?
And to sort of clarify, when I said bugs, and clousers, think creek fishing where size 6 flies is as big as it gets for the most part. I have a friend that has a 7wt. G2 with triangle taper and it does well, though it does dictate a change is casting styles to cast heavy weighted flies. Would it perform well in those conditions? I would be using it on a 6wt. TiCr to kinda shoot that out there.
Also, would I be able to use the tungsten leader and cut it into different lengths and use it on overhand lines?
Hey I tried, good luck on finding a good canoe. I suggest MadRiver and to put in to context solo paddling, if it is symmetrical you can sit in the canoe backwards (in passenger facing pilot’s seat) and paddle without problem.
Or you could get a completely macked out one.

You’re not saying that about your casting too are you? If so, for your safety, I’ll take all high end rods you have off your hands. For your safety that is.
I personally like having the same rod year after year. It feels more familiar and sort of takes on the role of a fishing companion. Each year that I change lines, its like seeing an old friend with a new story to tell. I guess I’m odd that way.
Not a bad fly but much better work for your state ;). Glad to see you’re keeping folks close to the grind stone. I have never been to Alaska though one day I hope to change that. I have a feeling with folks like you up there, the fishing will be just as good when I get there.
Hey Zach, on that poling platform you might like to keep it over the boat not off the back. Take how East Cape did the platforms on the early Gladesmen for example. At least that’s what I got from the sketch, was that it would hang
