I don’t see any reason to buy a mac. The only reason i can think of is that the quality of showing colors (photo) is said to be better than on a PC.

Also, surfing porn on the multiwebs is a lot more dangerous with a PC because of the bad people and their viruses, malware and spyware.

For what its worth, I still have a 2 notebook PCs, one 2.5 years old and one over 4 years old, that are still going strong.  The only reason I have purchased new systems is because upgrades on notebooks are limited to memory only and I like to have the latest and greatest so that I may comfortably run the latest and greatest.    

I really did look into the Macbook pro, and I really was disheartened by the price.  Apple certainly does not cater to that ‘carefree lifestyle’ and image that they are trying to sell with their marketing.  :'(

My next computer buy will be a big ass PC with a lot of horse power. This for the higher demand of power by the latest graphic studio’s and develop studio’s.

And games ofcourse 🙂

I just bought a new PC.

My first 35mm camera was my mother’s Yashica.  Recently a friend gave me a Russian FED 3 and a Kodak 35.  Haven’t put film in the Kodak yet.  The FED works well and has a decent lens, but needs minor repair of a light leak.
