Is the great divide a fully submersible bag?
I recently purchased the Simms Rolltop Fannypack, but I liked the rolltop feature.

We were not sight fishing to them in the sense you would sight fish to a bonefish or trout in the shallows.
The beasts in the photos are known locally as “big mouth carp” (aka asian carp). It is the specieis that has invaded the Missouri and Mississippi rivers (and other rivers across the midwest). You may have heard of the fish that jump into boats on those rivers — these are those fish.
They were rising for dries and chasing streamers. The fish that you see all came from stripping streamers on sink tip line.
I am not in any of the photos, because I did not land one. I was severely outgunned with my 8wt. My big fish of the day was a gar that was over 3 1/2 feet long.
As to the question of why not wet wade.
from a fishing standpoint, i quickly found that I was not used to the type of wading or rock hopping needed to be in the ideal spot to get the proper presentation.
I did quite a bit of video taping deer hunts while I was in college for a hunting video production company.
Is 14mm really that big of a difference from the 18mm?
Personally, I could see the difference from the 18mm to the 10mm, but not sure i could tell from the 18mm to a 14mm when I was comparing lenses at the local camera shop.

I am in the market for a true wide angle lens for my D70 before I head down to your neck of the woods (I am going to be staying Townsend, TN from June 3 – 9 on a little vacation).
I wish Missouri had a wild herd of elk, every once in awhile a deer hunter will shoot either an elk or a mule deer in the state — but not often enough.
My fish car is a 2000 Chevy Blazer, complete with rod lofts inside (i can keep six 9ft rods in it…they bend a little at the tip, but not that much) and a CataCarryAll Rack on the roof to carry my pontoon boat.
