    Sorry Zach, I am sure that rod meant alot to you sentimentally but this is weird but I really don’t feel your pain :-[  

    I have been FF for quite awhile but is never really attached to my FF equipment…rod or reel.

    I think unconditional lifetime warranty has turned me into an uncaring person :-[..break a rod, sent it back and get another one that looked like the first one that you caught a memorable fish but then it is not the same rod :-[ 🙂 🙂

    WBuggerman, you will have to teach me how to fish if I am ever in your neck of the woods 🙂
    Glad your nephew is showing interest…both my kids don’t fish 🙁 🙂

    There’s about 50 years difference in our ages, but for one day, we were both a couple of kids. Pretty sure I was as excited as he was. And I’m always on the lookout for new fishing buddies….

    nice! does it matter how late in the night or just as soon as it gets dark?

    One of Maine better known lady fly tier is Selene Dumaine, some call her the modern day Carrie Stevens!! Very impressive stuff like Rangeley style streamers.
