Simms waders don’t have a lifetime warranty. It’s 90 days afaik.

Well change my recommendation from a Subaru Forester to a Subaru Outback. I traded in my 14 Forester for the Outback as my dog had trouble getting into the back of the taller Forester. Outback is nicer in every regard and is only marginally more expensive.

The Subaru AWD is real tough to beat. Mine is better off road than my previous two 4x4s a 06 Z71 Chevy and a 09 Ram. Perhaps due to less weight but its definitely better on greasy two tracks and fire roads.

Take a long look at the 14 Subaru Forester and Outback. Best awd this side of a rover or Audi and great mpg to boot. Mechanically bullet prof and cheap. I got a forester to replace a z71 and it’s scary good off road and tows a mak just fine.

No reps out this way…it’s a shame because they have a great product but a little pricy for a poly lense IMHO.

Loops cracking after a few uses is more of an oddity than anything and not anymore likely with an SA line than a Rio or Airflo or even a $20 China line (even if you can pick your own custom color).

It’s only a matter of time before imported lines are everywhere. I have a hard enough time finding lines I like with the premium makers…I can’t image using a knockoff from China. The fly line market amongst the domestics (rio,sa, wulff etc) is more in play now than it has been in years. It will be interesting to see what happens. Orvis owns S.A and things haven’t been as peachy as everyone had hoped and Cortlands rebound looks to have run out of steam and flatlined. Rio is definitely in the driver seat but I wonder if Airflo or Wulff can step in and get some momentum. Time will tell I suppose…

Just curious what state your fishing in…with the super cold weather I can’t imagine finding any open water in Muskie country.

I think these shootouts are a joke. I think Zach hit the nail on the head. To me they are a commercial for whatever they want to sell that year. One needs only to look at their deflection charts from shootouts past to see rods with the exact same blank scoring different. I don’t care how good a fisherman He is…this is about sales

I think I was too harsh here…and for that I apologize. I really think they are doing the best they can and I certainly could not do a better job. Reading through the whole thing again they are pretty clear that these are their opinions and they do in fact welcome feedback. I must have been on a bad mood when I originally posted…
