I have fished with Capt Todd Fuller out of Orlando Outfitters. Great guy. I had a 5 hr trip scheduled and he poled me solid for 7 hrs in nasty conditions. He did not stop all day long. This was when I first started and sucked. He had another trip that night for a video and could have just quit and taken a break but he kept after it. I think you will find him highly recommended. He was running a maverick hpxt but I saw on his website that he is in with hells bay now. I would think that Sept should be off the hook. Tarpon/snook, reds etc.

Welcome. Man I thought it is cold in Hilton Head. I can not imagine how cold it is up there.

Probably an action craft for the first one. There are so many on the market that you can not pass up the deals. I love moxleys beavertail and I would really love one,  but it would be hard to guide out of here. You need to be really flexible with the number of people and the ability to run the May River, Calibogue, and Port Royal with out killing your client.
Were you with me last year when it got really nasty on the way home?

Merchant services through a bank are expensive. That is why you see internet options popping up.

“a little” no, alot yes. I am taking my captians classes this week and I will take the fff teacher cert in about a month. I left the bank about 40 days ago. I am going to buy a flats boat in the next 3 months or so and sell my alumacraft. Don’t worry, you will be grandfathered in.

I am going to have to try to make a press for the foam. I got up this morning and the sheets that I glued had a bubble in them. Probably going to have to use a different type of glue. This “craft glue” had a slight bubbling charectoristic like gorilla glue.
Man I thought I was on to something and this has been a pain in the side.
I do want the foam pretty thick, like a bugger beast, to hold larger salt flies.

the foam absorbed the contact cement and disfigured. I am trying another type of glue and pressing them to see if this work. I think it will adhere to the box, but I have to put several sheets together for larger flies. The foam came from Michaels and the first glue was contact cement and the second is some type of crafting glue.

He was here on Friday and said he saw you. We have some pics coming from a a 3rd member of the boat. The reds are super, super cold. I was on the poling platform of his boat and he was casting to a big school of fish when we had a bunch of hits. They would hit the fly but not inhale it. We had some really cool takes with the reds flaring their gills on the fly but not getting it all the way in.
I have seen more redfish this winter than I ever have before.

I really like it. As has been said before, a little energy in your voice would be nice, but I do like it.

I have had a maverick and they are nice boats. I am currently using the jon boat method. They do not track well and hard to control in the wind but for the money, a great option.
My good friend has a beavertail, hmm, looks very similar to that Waterman, and they are awesome boats. For the money, the beavertails and Ecc are great boats. Floats extremely shallow and poles unbelievable. It is amazing how quiet his beavertail is in the water.
Make sure you are honest with yourself as to what you are going to do with it. There is no one size fits all option.
Shopping for flats boats is fun though.

Good luck in Charleston. There may be a few tailers around. The low tide is pretty strong. I am going out of town this weekend to fish in the mountians, but I will be back Monday to fish with some friends on low tide.

    Seth,
Give me ashout when your getting ready to head this way. I will help you all I can.
Our redfishing is as good as there is. It is very tidal driven, our tides average 8′ highs.

Peacocks are fun fish. Some days you just have to go outside your normal fishing holes.
Off to coach 4 yr old soccer.
