I’ve seen guys use the rubber worm things before and they melted them, then super glued them as tentacles for crawfish patterns.

Do any of you guys ever use your tripods in the water?  I’ve been researching the lighterweight tripods for a while, and wasn’t sure if anyone had issues setting them up in shallow riffle, or basically just getting the legs/sections wet.  Will they corrode or anything?  I figure if I go with a carbon fiber tripod with the twist locks I should be ok.  Any thoughts?

I’m envious of your trip.  We talked about a turkey day excursion, but didn’t make it (blaming it on tryptophan and great beer).  Looks like you did quite well! I’m with Neal, love that second shot from the lower angle.

I wasn’t able to find it either, but there is a great page that might be able to help break it down for you.

Thanks Zach.  Figured I’d give everyone the low down on some Tributary trips here in the Midwest.  We’re reliving the trip this weekend, hoping to get in to some early steelheads.

Alright, ego in check (not quite as smart as I thought) but I think I’ve got it.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Zach.

I’d love any feedback ya’ll are willing to offer.

Don’t worry Zach, I enjoy a good ramen, especially when the weather turns cold.  So you’re not alone.

Wray – Thanks for letting me know.  It comes up clean on my iMac and iPad, so I’ll have to look in to the formatting.  I’ve been trying to post here, but think I am doing something wrong when trying to post the pictures.

Here we go with one more try!

Not sure why only the links are posted….by chance, does anyone know if this is the right img information?  Is there a place I can find it on Flickr?  Please help!
