    Almost decided to give it away to the Frenchies in the final, but held on for a 8-7 win that almost gave me a heart attack.

    Monday was a great day to be on the river nice and early! It was one hell of a weekend. I’ve just posted a report from that day’s fishing.

    The best thing about UnZud winning the cup was that Air New Zealand sent me an email saying they were celebrating, and offered me ridiculous discounts on air fares. TRUE STORY! 😀

    I’m taking the whole family South Island for 10 days in January, nine days of which I’ll be fishing! The fish can’t be as hard to stop as the front row.

    Rugby league is a better spectator sport, unless you are a Kiwi. I was hoping the Warriors would defeat Manly in the final, though I think everyone not living in Manly hoped that.
