David AndersonMemberAs for the ABs, it was already bad enough losing Read, but now no Dan, Richie, Mils, or Dagg. I sure hope the injuries clear up soon.
😉 :-X
Are they suffering in all that cotton wool ????

Cool
I didn’t actually think the Irish would pull it off. What a game!
Were you wearing green? Drinking Guinness? What a night I’d say!? 🙂
Must have been a great game to have been at?Sep 18, 2011 at 3:13 am #50317

Must have been a great game to have been at?Was definitely wearing green. Unfortunately, they don’t sell Guinness at the stadium. I’ve been to quite a few great live sporting events, and the game last night was right up there with the best of them. I can only imagine what that place is going to be like for the final…
;)Just so happens I have tickets…

MemberNow I know how you Kiwis feel losing to the French……. that friggin hurt. I did predict an ambush, it was the game the Irish had to win to avoid SA in the quarters and NZed in the semis.
Lets see how it rolls now.
Simon I’ll be passing through Auckland on the night of the final on my way back from Aitutaki. I doubt I’ll be wearing a Wallabies jersey, think I’ll be bunging on a Kiwi accent.

Oh no you don’t… There’s a big difference between the round robin and a knockout match. I don’t actually see an upset loss in the round robin as a particularly bad thing. It’ll show up the teams faults and improve their determination no intend. And lets face it, Aus are still going to go through to the next stage.

No way! I would have given you 1000-1.
Never turn your back on a saltwater croc… or the wallabies…Still “trojan horse” pops up everytime I see Quade Cooper choking one up… 😉
Morsie. Do you need acc? Theres a crew of us slumming in an apartment but hoping it’ll be a long a festive night.
I have a spare black jersey if you find yourself looking to watch some footy. If we kook it then I’ll wear one of yours or Mikes!Sep 23, 2011 at 11:04 am #50325

MemberShit, we beat someone 😮 😮
Simon I had to make decision when the flights were happening and am catching a close connection. I think I would probably prefer to wear a black jersey anyway, sounds like its a bit ugly for the Aussies over there.

Simon ChuMemberVery embarrassing. I thought we were a little better than that but of course a few are spoiling it for others.
Support has always been for the underdog but sledging aside, some of the behavior is very poor.Sep 23, 2011 at 11:17 pm #50328Morsie
MemberSimon I’ll be across in late January early Feb. Bringing Dhanders to hammer the Clutha with Bob, (and Carl as well, I think).
The offer to wear black only extended as far as surviving in Auckland on finals night to cover my Aussie accent.
